Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Engineered hardwood is made with a laminate construction but make no mistake – it still features real hardwood and is actually more stable than solid wood flooring! During its construction, several layers are glued together under pressure & heat, thus making engineered hardwood flooring resistant to the shrinking and expanding caused by changes in our hot Florida temperatures and humidity.
Engineered hardwood flooring is offered in a variety of types, colors and finishes and is more affordable than solid wood, too.
And – once we’ve installed your new engineered hardwood flooring, maintaining it is easy:
- Wipe up spills immediately
- Use a damp mop or sponge sparingly & only with a mild soap. Make sure there are no wet spots remaining.
- Sweep/vacuum 2-3 times each week (to remove dust & grit)
- Keep pets’ nails clipped
- Discourage high heels to avoid dents & dings
